The hotel has a homely atmosphere and is located in a perfect spot, close to the beach and restaurants. The staff takes great care of guests, even going above and beyond when I fell ill during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the small terrace outside. I also liked that I could rent a bike directly from the hotel.

We had a truly homely experience at Gili Buana. When I fell ill, the hotel owner went above and beyond to take care of me, accompanying me to the chemist and arranging a doctor's visit. She even cooked me food for free and checked on me regularly. The location was perfect, with beaches and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Spent Christmas at this hostel and had a great time! Loved the big and clean swimming pool, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The location was also a huge plus, just a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. Plus, the staff was super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The walls were a bit too thin, which made it a bit difficult to get a good night's sleep sometimes. the language barrier was a bit of a challenge when trying to communicate with the staff.

The rooms at Gili Buana are simply amazing! The twin room I stayed in had a beautiful tile/marble floor that added a touch of elegance to the space. The air conditioning was a blessing, keeping the room cool and comfortable. I absolutely loved the balcony, where I could enjoy the fresh air and take in the stunning pool view. As a vegetarian/vegan, I appreciated the in-room WiFi, which allowed me to easily research nearby veg-friendly restaurants.

While I loved everything about my stay at Gili Buana, I personally missed having a seating area in the double room I saw online. However, I understand that others may not find this as important or may even prefer a more minimalist setup.
